Healthy meal planning made simple

Published by Lynn at 2:33 pm under Food and nutrition

Yes, it’s true. Planning a healthy meal doesn’t have to take a lot of work, exotic ingredients, and consist of foods your family won’t eat.

I was recently reminded of two great websites that include tons of tips and resources to make healthy meal planning a snap. Plus they have cool tools and quizzes you can use while you’re waiting for the pot to boil.

Check out www.mealsmatter.org and www.eatbetteramerica.com and get started plannng - and enjoying - healthy meals for you and your entire family.

I cannot stress on how much I agree with you! I keep telling people the same thing! Preparing a healthy meal for yourself or for your family isn’t more expensive if you plan it properly. And, planning it properly doesn’t take a lot of work. Once, anyone gets a brief summary of the basics of nutrition that person may then build on that knowledge. It is truly a misconception by people that a healthy diet consists of exotic ingredients. It really isn’t! Another essential thing most meal planners or diet planners need to remember is that when you plan a meal or plan to start a diet you must base your plan along with the season. What does this mean? This means makes sure the availability of ingredients, for your diet or meal, is supported by the season, when you plan to take that diet or prepare that meal. Meal planning or diet planning is fast and easy if you know how to do it properly.

By the way, thank you so much for the two links! They are so helpful! Plus I love reading more about meal planning and finding better ways to eat. Great post! Two thumbs up!
